My Adventurous Bucket List

I’ve never really liked the idea of a ‘Bucket List’, but as I get older I kind of understand them more. As I inch closer to ‘Middle-age’ I am beginning to feel like my time is running out. Especially since there is so much I haven’t had a chance to see or do yet. If you had asked me ten years ago if I had a bucket list I would have laughed. But here I am sitting in my office dreaming of all the things I want to do and see and actually making a list of them!

Saving Money For Travel When You Are A Single Parent

I must admit, I am quite envious of some of the blogs I read. Most of them are single and free people and don’t have the obligation of raising children. Especially not on their own. I see blogs of families who go off on never ending adventures and yeah, I’m a little jealous at times. But, I have to remind myself that things aren’t always what they seem. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. I know for a fact that it takes a TON of work to run a blog or business while on the road. Sure you can work whenever you want, but you still have to work!

A Weekend Adventure

Here I am, it’s Sunday and I’m busy around the house cooking and cleaning. Just doing my usual Sunday stuff. Yesterday, however, was a different story. The little Ginger and I had a little adventure. I knew we had to go to Hattiesburg to return G’s flute. (If you don’t know what that’s about, check out my post on Bullying.) I wasn’t really sure what we were going to do after that. We originally were going to go for a hike on the Long Leaf Trace. The little Ginger didn’t feel like hiking, so we compromised and hit the zoo.
